Shipping, Digital Delivery & Refund Policy

At Rooted Chapters™, every order — whether it’s a mug of inspiration, a journal for your thoughts, a bag of freshly roasted coffee, or a digital poem that speaks to your soul — is made with care and intention.

We operate on a made‑to‑order (on‑demand)model. Each product, physical or digital, is created specifically for you once your order is placed. This helps us reduce waste, maintain quality, and ensure that every piece carries the heart of our brand.

This policy explains how we handle shipping, digital delivery, returns, and refunds for all Rooted Chapters™ products. By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms outlined below.


1. Order Processing

  • Orders are processed once payment is confirmed.
  • Physical products (including journals, mugs, apparel, and coffee) typically take 3–7 business days to produce before shipping.
  • Digital products (such as e‑books, poetry collections, or soundtracks) are delivered instantly after payment.
  • During holidays or high‑volume periods, processing times may take slightly longer.

2. Shipping (Physical Products)

  • Domestic (U.S.) Orders: Usually arrive within 5–10 business days after processing.
  • International Orders: Delivery times vary depending on destination, customs, and carrier.
  • Once shipped, you’ll receive a tracking number via email.
  • Rooted Chapters™ is not responsible for delays caused by postal carriers, customs, or weather conditions.

Coffee Orders:
All coffee products are roasted, packaged, and shipped directly from our roasting partner. Because each bag is roasted fresh to order, shipping times may vary slightly depending on roast schedules.


3. Digital Product Delivery

  • Delivery is instant once your payment is confirmed.
  • You’ll receive a secure download link on the checkout page and via email.
  • If you don’t see your email, please check your spam or promotions folder.

Download Access:
Each digital purchase includes two (2) download attempts per file. After two successful downloads, the link will expire to protect your content.
If you experience any issues or need your link reactivated, email info@rootedchapterscafe.com with your order number.


4. Shipping Costs

  • Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and order weight.
  • Occasionally, we offer free shipping promotions — these will be clearly noted on the website or at checkout.
  • Shipping fees are non‑refundable, except when an order arrives defective or incorrectly fulfilled.

5. Order Changes or Cancellations

Because all products are made to order, we can only modify or cancel an order within 12 hours of purchase.
After that, production or digital fulfillment begins and changes cannot be made.

If you need help, email info@rootedchapterscafe.com as soon as possible with your order number.


6. Returns and Exchanges

All products are made to order, so we cannot accept returns or exchanges for reasons such as size, color preference, or change of mind.

If your order arrives damaged, misprinted, or defective, contact us within 14 days of delivery at info@rootedchapterscafe.com with:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the issue
  • Clear photos of the product and packaging

Once verified, we’ll send a replacement or issue store credit at no additional cost to you.

Digital Products:
All digital sales are final. If your file is corrupted, inaccessible, or you were charged in error, we’ll resend the correct file or issue store credit.


7. Refunds

  • Physical Products: Refunds are only issued for defective, damaged, or incorrectly fulfilled items.
  • Digital Products: Refunds are only offered for technical issues or duplicate charges.

Refunds are processed back to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.


8. Lost or Stolen Packages

Once a package is marked as “delivered” by the carrier, Rooted Chapters™ is not responsible for lost or stolen packages.
We’ll do our best to help you locate it, but we cannot issue refunds or replacements for packages confirmed as delivered.


9. Taxes and Compliance

All prices listed are exclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
Sales tax, VAT, or other applicable taxes are calculated at checkout based on your location.

Rooted Chapters™ complies with all relevant e‑commerce tax regulations. Customers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or fees charged by their local authorities for international orders.


10. Limitation of Liability

Rooted Chapters™ is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our physical or digital products.
By purchasing from us, you acknowledge that all products are provided “as is” and that you are responsible for how you use them.

We are not responsible for data loss, device damage, or compatibility issues related to digital downloads.
