This is your stage—a creative gathering where artists, poets, and storytellers share original work that speaks from the heart. Whether you’re performing a poem, a song, or a reflection, your voice contributes to a growing community rooted in authenticity and soul.
You’re also welcome to use digital tools—such as video editing, background music, visual art, or creative effects—to enhance your performance and bring your vision to life.
How to Submit
- Record your performance.
- Upload it to YouTube as an unlisted video.
- Email the unlisted video link to info@rootedchapterscafe.com.
- In your email, include your name, performance title, and a short artist bio. Submissions are accepted on a rolling basis.
Submission Guidelines
- Submissions must reflect integrity, creativity, and spiritual depth.
- No explicit content, hate speech, or divisive material.
- All content must comply with YouTube’s Community Guidelines.

Honoring Independent Artists
At Rooted Chapters Café, we believe underground poets and independent artists are hidden gems—voices of truth, creativity, and resilience that often go unheard in the mainstream. Through our Open Mic, we celebrate and honor these artists by featuring them as Spotlight Performers, giving their art the recognition and platform it deserves.
Each season, one standout artist will receive The Rooted Spotlight Award—a symbolic microphone trophy representing excellence, authenticity, and soulful expression within our creative community—and be featured in our Digital Theatre, sharing their work with a wider audience beyond the café stage.
